About
Nonogram Today is a small, independent puzzle site. It puts one picture puzzle out each day and keeps the page quiet: the grid comes first, there is nothing to sign up for, and it works the same on a phone as on a desktop.
How the puzzles are made
Each daily picture is drawn by hand on a 10 by 10 or 15 by 15 grid. Before it is published, a solver checks that the picture can be reached by logic alone and that no other picture fits the same clues. Drawings that fail the check are redrawn.
Practice puzzles are generated in your browser and pass the same check before you see them.
Why one ink a day
Nonograms grew up in printed puzzle magazines. Each day here is printed in a single ink on white, the way a small press would run it, so a finished month looks like a color chart.
